As the members of your organisation have different levels of seniority and responsibilities, they should have different access rights to your Airbank platform. Airbank separates your various team members into five different roles:

  1. Employee

  2. Manager

  3. Accountant

  4. Administrator

  5. Owner

This article is designed to navigate you through these five roles and the rights associated with them. To make this as easy as possible, we will go through the various tabs on our app and classify permissions per action and role.

Employee Role

Actions that are permitted to all users but not an employee:

Tag transactions for Employees to be viewed

Edit a transaction that the employee is not tagged on

Edit/upload bills for transactions that the employee is not tagged on

Employees can only see transactions, that they are tagged on

Accountant Role

Accountants can see and edit all transactions and bills that they have access to. They cannot change any settings or configurations in your Airbank app

Manager Role

Actions that are permitted to managers, administrators, and owners only

Managers can see and edit all transactions and bills that they have access to. They can also add cash flow forecasts and change basic configurations across the app.

Administrators can see and edit all transactions and bills that they have access to. They can also change most configurations, other employees' access rights and can add or remove banks. Administrators cannot see bank accounts that are hidden from them

Owner Role

Owners have full rights across the Airbank workspace. They can always see all bank accounts, and apply for financing.
