While the Airbank App features a powerful automatic categorization function, it also allows users to easily categorize transactions manually. See here to read the article about the automatic categorization feature.
By default, the Airbank App pre-categorizes transactions as soon as they are loaded in your dashboard. This feature is highly efficient and accurate and operates concurrently with the data transfer from your bank's servers.
Important: Please bear in mind that Airbank's pre-categorization features is partially dependent on the amount and kind of you data your bank shares with us, as well as on your bank's or payment provider's internal categorization system.
Manually assigning categories
In order to manually assign a category, just click into the relevant field (see screenshot below):
Choose the particular transaction you wish to categorize via one of the tabs in the top of the dashboard and click in the square field under "Category".
Start typing and the App will automatically suggest different categories
You can also assign an entirely new category or change the designation of an existing category
Please confirm your entry by pressing the "enter key" on your keyboard
The manual transaction categorization is complete.
Important: As soon as you start manually setting or changing transaction categories, the Airbank App starts learning and remembering your categorizations.
