Take the following steps to connect your Sparkasse (Germany) account to the Airbank App.

First, please go to the "Connect new bank" button in the upper right-hand corner of the dashboard & click on it.

Now, type in "Sparkasse" + the name of your particular branch (in the search field - see screenshot below).

Due to the high number of different regional "Sparkasse" branches, it is recommended to type in the exact name. Alternatively, you can also scroll down & pick out the right branch manually.

Click on the particular "Sparkasse" branch you wish to connect to.

Now, please provide your "Branch number" and your account number and click on "Next".

Now, the following loading message will appear.

After a few seconds you will be redirected to the "Sparkasse" log-in page.

Please follow the instructions appearing on the log-in page and enter your email address (alternatively: your "login name/alias" and your "PIN") as well as your password and click on "Login".

Now, click into the field showing the PSD2 open banking connection option and confirm your choice.

Follow this with the final steps to complete the authorization:

  1. Please enter your account number and the phone number connected to your online banking account & then click on "Continue".

  2. You will receive a text message with your TAN code & will be prompted to enter the TAN and your PIN (alternatively: your password).

  3. Confirm the entry

Congratulations! Your Sparkasse account is now connected!

You should now be redirected to the Airbank App and see the "Sparkasse" icon in the upper left-hand corner of the your banking dashboard.
