If you have more than one account with the same bank (e.g. a private & a business account or numerous private & business accounts), it might happen that the Airbank dashboard shows more accounts than you intended to have displayed (or alternatively: fewer or different account from the ones you wanted to have displayed).

Oftentimes, this has to do with the default setting of the bank in question: many banks automatically connect all existing accounts, once access has been authorized by the holder.

In that case, it is necessary to get in touch with your bank.

To do so, contact our dedicated Airbank support via: help@joinairbank.com or simply use the chat function on the Airbank homepage or in the Airbank app (the speech bubble icon in the lower right-hand corner).

Alternatively, you can either directly request a change of settings (if available: via your banks internal online banking messaging system) or you can use our contact template (see below), fill in the required information & send an email to your bank.

In both cases, it is necessary to specify:

  • Which bank accounts you wish to have displayed in the Airbank App (for those, the bank as to enable the required open banking connection)

  • Which bank accounts the bank should "block" i.e. for which bank accounts the connection should be disabled.

Email template: Enabling accounts for the use of PSD2 APIs

Dear Mr./Mrs. [Account Manager's Name],

We wish to implement a business banking software in our business and therefore need to connect our business accounts via Open Banking API to enable the automatic reconciliation of our transactions.

Unfortunately, our accounts do not seem to be enabled for Open Banking/PSD2 use at this time.

According to our software provider, access to PSD2 APIs can be set up manually by a financial institution if access is not yet available.

That is why I kindly ask you to enable the following accounts for the use of PSD2 APIs:

[account number]

[account number]

[account number]

Thank you very much in advance!

For any further queries, please contact our software provider directly at support@joinairbank.com.

Sincerely,

[your name]

Important: Please do not hesitate to get in touch with Airbank' s support team should you experience any issues or require additional support.
